THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR BANK EMPLOYEES WELFARE SOCIETY has been established in year 1985 and the society is registered with the registrar of societies (J&K). The society is registered with Income Tax Department & Income is exempted from tax under Sec.80G. The membership of the society is from all the cadres of the bank.

The main aims and objects of the society are:

• To create a fund by way of deposits from members.
• To work for the socio-economic welfare of the members and their families.
• To provide relief to members in the event of natural calamities like earthquake, flood, accidental fire, fatal diseases.
• To work for the disseminations of scientific and other useful knowledge.
• To work for such other purposes which may be beneficial to the society and its members with approval of general council.
